Pasta with Pesto

The homebrew recipe of the day is what we just had for breakfast: Pasta with Pesto.

I love pesto! I’m not really into cream based or tomato based sauces for my pasta, I prefer something light and refreshing like this one.

We used fettuccine noodles for the pasta – cooked al dente and the pesto recipe includes freshly chopped basil, walnuts, garlic, Parmesan cheese, olive oil plus salt and pepper to taste plus sliced black olives on top.
